Could this be music’s biggest night yet?
The Recording Academy, along with GRAMMYs host Alicia Keys and pop star Bebe Rexha, rose and shone on Wednesday morning to announce nominations for the Grammy Awards 2020. Across 84 total categories, the biggest stars from every genre — pop, R&B, large jazz ensemble — were recognized for the industry’s top honors.
The nominees for the 2020 Grammy Awards are being announced today. Who will pick up nominations for Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best New Artist? Stay tuned here for more information. The Grammys take place on January 26 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. They’ll be hosted by Alicia Keys and will air live on CBS.
At last year’s Grammys, Kacey Musgraves won Album of the Year, Childish Gambino won both Song and Record of the Year, and Dua Lipa won Best New Artist. Cardi B, St. Vincent, Beck, Ariana Grande, and Drake were also among last year’s winners.
As for who will come out on top of the big night? Tune in when the Golden Gramophones are handed out during the 62nd annual GRAMMYs, airing live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Sunday, Jan. 26, 2020 at 8:00 p.m. ET / 5:00 p.m. PT on CBS.
