In the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium of Nagpur, there is a continuation of the batting of the batsmen of Team India. This was the seventh international one-day match on the field of the Indian cricket team. In any of the 6 matches played before the VCA ground, some Indian batsman had definitely played a century.

And in the seventh match this myth remains intact. Team India captain Virat Kohli faced 120 balls in this match and scored 116 runs with 10 fours in the match. However, the Indian team could not play their full overs in the match and got reduced to 250 runs in 48.2 overs.

India played its first international one day match against Australia on this beautiful ground in 2009. In which Mahendra Singh Dhoni scored 124 runs. In that match, India had won by 99 runs.

After that India played here against Sri Lanka in December of that year. Once again, Dhoni scored 107 runs, scoring his bat. India lost the match by three wickets though. India had to wait two years to play their third match on this ground but that match was very important.

In the 2011 World Cup, against South Africa, Sachin Tendulkar played the best innings of India’s best innings of 111 runs But India lost the match by three wickets. Two years later, India got a chance to face Australia for the second time. India won the match by 6 wickets.
For India, Shikhar Dhawan scored 100 and Virat Kohli 115 runs. In that match Shane Watson scored 102 and George Bailey scored 156 runs.

On this ground, India again faced Australia in 2017 and defeated them by 7 wickets. In that match Rohit Sharma played a 125-run innings for India. This is the biggest score of any Indian on this field. Not only this, the highest score on the field is India.

He scored 354 runs in 7 wickets against Australia in 2009. India has 7 centuries in 7 matches played so far on this ground. Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Virat Kohli have played two or two century innings.
