Gucci Apologizes for a sweater ‘Blackface’ Turtleneck
Gucci has apologized for moving a sweater after individuals called attention to that its structure looked like blackface. The best, which has now been pulled from the form house’s on the web and physical stores, is a dark turtleneck that can be pulled up over the base portion of the face to uncover oversize red lips.
In a tweet sent late Tuesday, the organization said it “profoundly apologizes for the offense brought about by the fleece balaclava jumper,” and included: “We are completely dedicated to expanding decent variety all through our association and transforming this episode into an incredible learning minute for the Gucci group and past.

” Film maker and media identity Tariq Nasheed said the statement of regret wasn’t adequate, expressing: “So Gucci puts out a sweater that resembles blackface… On Black History Month… And afterward issues an expression of remorse since they didn’t realize that blackface pictures are bigot.”
