Google today dedicated its doodle to Greek professor late Michael Dartos. Today is his 82nd birthday. He was born on November 5, 1936 in Athens, Greece, and died August 27, 2001 in Boston, United States.
Dartogues was a computer scientist who did a lot of work in computer technology, especially on the field of the Internet. He had said at the time that the internet would play an important role in the life of the people.

He was Director with Laboratory for Computer Science (LCS) from 1974 to 2001. During that time he worked on RSA encryption, the spreadsheet, the NuBus, the X Window System, and the Internet. After graduation from Athens College, he did Fulbright Scholarship at the University of Arkansas and was a PhD from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). In 1964 he joined MIT, US as a faculty. There lived during the time of his death i.e. 2001.
